Sygale Lomas serves as the Monterey County Brokerage Director at David Lyng Real Estate.  She joined the company in 2015 to work alongside Sally Lyng on her real estate team and to help oversee the company’s marketing.  With her background in management, sales, and marketing and her experience in public relations and community service, she was the ideal person to lead David Lyng’s Monterey County offices based in Carmel-by-the-Sea.

A Texas native, Sygale has enjoyed careers that all-encompassed sales, marketing, advertising, and management.  She was president of marketing for an international company with 13 divisions in the oil and gas industry, she worked in Hospital administration and personnel and was director of personnel for a printing company in Dallas.  When she moved to California in 1989 she became co-owner of a publishing company, which owned/published nine newspapers.  She went on to focus her career in advertising as an executive with one of the nation’s largest media companies, Freedom Communications, where she received numerous professional awards and accolades as a top national producer. She moved to Monterey County in 2010 where she held a position at the Monterey Herald as a Media Consultant and quickly became a top producer for Media News Group / Digital First Media.

Sygale is deeply committed to community engagement, actively contributing to numerous organizations, nonprofits, and charities. She currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Carmel Chamber of Commerce as the Immediate Past Chair, having previously held the position of Board Chair in 2022 and 2023. Additionally, she is a board member of the Carmel Residents Association a member of the Carmel Sunset Rotary Club, and serves on the Grievance Committee for the Monterey County Association of REALTORS®.  She is also an active member of the Monterey Peninsula Women's Council of REALTORS®.

Sygale's dedication has been recognized with several honors, including being named Ambassador of the Year in 2020 and Board Member of the Year in 2022 by the Carmel Chamber of Commerce.  She previously served on the Board of Directors for the Carmel Valley Chamber of Commerce from 2012 to 2016, including a term as President in 2016.

Beyond her professional and community achievements, Sygale has received statewide recognition as Woman of the Year by two organizations for her advocacy efforts.  She is passionate about supporting children with special needs, advancing deaf and hard-of-hearing education, and championing the DHH community.  Her leadership and dedication continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those she serves.
